Elmhurst Hotel New York

The hotel was clean, budget-friendly, and close to the subway, which was super convenient for getting around Manhattan. The room had a comfortable bed and a hot shower that helped me relax after a long day of exploring. The only downside was the lack of a fridge, but it didn't bother me too much since I was out and about most of the time. 🚿

The hotel's old, noisy rooms and unhelpful staff made our stay less than ideal. Water dripped from the ceiling, leading to a room change with no refund. The area had issues, including a lack of amenities and a presence of unsavory activities. Basic facilities only; good for short stays or budget-conscious travelers.

Although the staff could have been friendlier, my stay at Elmhurst Hotel in New York was comfortable. The room was clean, the bed was cozy, and the subway access was convenient. I appreciated the ample space and helpful housekeeping. Overall, a decent option for a solo traveler like me.

Everything was simply good. I liked stuff and location, which where great. Comfortable beds and climate control, a writing table and an electronic key card.

However, the broken window in our room led to a challenging night due to rain and noise from the main road. The overall experience was decent considering the price.

Just stayed at a hotel near a great Colombian restaurant and Queens mall. LOVED the room with 2 queen beds. Breakfast was included - such a bonus! Definitely coming back! Pictures don't do justice to how cozy it is.

I was actually surprised by my recent stay at Elmhurst. The location was ideal, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The room was comfortable and clean. I particularly appreciated the convenience of the nearby metro station and the large laundromat just a few doors away. The hotel felt safe and secure, with attentive reception staff. Despite being located near the metro line, the noise was minimal and did not disturb my sleep. the hotel rate was unbeatable for a 3-star rated hotel in the area.

While my overall experience at Elmhurst was positive, I do have a couple of suggestions for improvement. It would be helpful for the hotel to provide information on nearby parking garages, especially who are driving.

The room was large and the bathroom spacious. Despite the noisy air conditioner, it served as white noise to block out other sounds. The front desk, though not overly friendly, was efficient in providing extra towels when needed.

We recently stayed at the Elmhurst Hotel for our trip to the US Open and it was a perfect choice for us. As an older couple who have difficulty walking long distances, the hotel's location was incredibly convenient. We were just steps away from the subway, making it easy to get to both the tennis tournament and JFK airport. The bed in our room was incredibly comfortable, and we enjoyed watching the great TV, although it would have been even better if we could remove the demo section on the left side of the screen. The front desk staff was also very friendly and helpful. we had a great stay and we look forward to returning in the future.

Close to subway, comfortable bed, great TV. Ideal location for visiting family in Jackson Heights. Clean and basic room, no-frills but exactly what we needed.
